Project: 5th Floor refurbishment
The creation of the New Estates Department at the college called for a complete refurbishment of the 5th floor of the Sherfield Building.
The project, which included air conditioning, lighting and power and a refurbishment of the existing heating system proved to be a challenge due to the existing heating pipe work in the building. It's positioning was so low that a special skirting trunking system had to be created to enable the small power, data and communications to be installed.
